Adds more Mystic Vale. What were you expecting? Probably the least interesting of the expansions, but the cards are fundamentally strong, so always include this.

Adds a nice variance to the enhancements you can draw. Especially the first level enhancements now become more uncertain ( you can't expect at least one of your favourite level ones to show up any more, forcing you to adapt your strategy.

The first expansion for this "card crafting" game. This is one of those expansions that I would say you really need to have as it makes the base game feel complete. I think companies break up the base game so they can sell more. Ohh well. So this just adds more cards and more vales. The new cards really don't add any extra complexity. Some of my favorites were the guy who lets you flip extra cards after you stop based on the number of Guardian symbols on the card, ignoring Spoiling. Also, there is a card that lets you flip your player token to the active side when it is played (giving +1 money). Many Vale cards also give this ability when bought. I think my favorite card was the Hatchery. This lets you add it as the first card of your field on your next turn as long as it wasn't the first card this turn. So, load it up. I had mine with 3 coins. So yes, if you are a fan of Mystic Vale, this is an absolute must buy.
