The second Figure and Tile Collection brings pieces to Second Edition from both first edition expansions, Forbidden Alchemy and Call of the Wild. Suppressed Memories includes eight investigators, fifteen plastic monster miniatures, and seventeen double-sided map tiles.

Bought this expansion shortly after receiving the base game. Tiles are superb as usual, and the figure quality is pretty good IMO. While I bought this with the hope that it would add more variety to the existing scenarios, I'm not seeing the app utilize these new pieces as much. Also, with only one additional scenario to date that requires this expansion these nice pieces won't see much use either. Aside for having the numerous components for other Arkham Horror themed games the value here is somewhat low compared to other MoM expansions.

Made print and play version of this game using the files from the app. This game is way too difficult to find right now otherwise.

The mix of tiles and monsters in this box is pretty solid, and the overall quantity of physical materials provided is good. The real reason why I can't rate this higher than a 6, despite my appreciation for FFG keeping these materials in print, is that they are woefully underutilized currently with only 1 bonus scenario being unlocked by this purchase. Granted, that one scenario is pretty fun and one of the better introductory options, but for the price (and given all of the 1st edition material they could have cribbed to make more scenarios) it really would have been nice to get at least 2-3 stories to go with the content. Understand that I rate these expansions heavily based on the new scenarios as to me most of the monsters are interchangeable and the additional tiles may or may not be used as map variations in other scenarios. FFG has been doing their best to support these kits by using them for more map variations, especially with the DLC; which does make them offer more value, but the lack of "specific to this box and its contents" scenarios is always going to be a sticking point for me with a $50 expansion like this. In general: I consider this and the other tile set, Recurring Nightmares, to be extravagant purchases for people who are huge fans of the game or who have a lot of spare disposable income. I am a pretty big fan of the game, and am hopeful that DLC scenarios will continue to make use of the collections, but I would say these tile sets earn only a cautious, mild thumbs up and are not something that I would recommend to anyone on any gaming budget whatsoever. I think these will always remain the last logical purchase for most owners of the game. Scenario Comments (can be mildly spoilery): Cult of Sentinel Hill - (Suppressed Memories, 1 of 1) This is the only scenario included with the SM tile set. It is a classic, Dunwich Horror themed scenario that is on the shorter side with moderate difficulty and some outside-in-the-forest exploration bits. I love the Dunwich Horror, so I'm thrilled that FFG included a scenario that includes it in this box. I would also be willing to use this as an intro scenario as there is nothing particularly complex about this one either. One of my favorites.
