Another solid bigger box expansion for MoM 2nd ed. Nothing mandatory for the game but new scenarios, tiles, spells, monsters, items, insanities etc to keep the game interesting. Jim Culver, one of the new investigators is great character and probably see lots of play. Some of the new common items are silly which makes it even more of Pulp Cthulhu. Can be fun or frustrating, depends on what you like. With this expansion and with previous ones, you can make Jazz band theme to the group of investigators for even more extra FUN! Jim Culver - Trumpet player Silas Marsh - Drummer or roadie/security Marie Lambeau - Singer Ashcan Pete - Guitar player Charlie Kane - Manager New scenarios: Murder on Stargazer Majestic. This was a good investigation heavy scenario but no new monsters appeared during the play. We used Jazz band formation from the list above, and it was hilarious. The ending was a bit strange and we were not sure did we failed or was there bug preventing us to win. Score: 8- 10:50 to Arkham. Used some of the new mechanics and monsters and the train was a great environment for the story. Score: 9 Hidden Depths. This scenario comes with a new traitor card element which gives an interesting new twist to the investigation. Can you trust your team, someone might be saboteur... Tension is multiplied and there are some events in scenario where a player needs to make choices alone. Wishing that this mechanic could be re-used in some future scenarios. Score: 9
