Sanctum of Twilight is an expansion for Mansions of Madness Second Edition that unites two new investigators against the Order of the Silver Twilight in two thrilling scenarios. With new spells, items, mechanics, and a new monster, this expansion immerses players in the Arkham Files universe as they confront the dangers threatening Arkham from within.

The packaging is shit - comes in a too large box and which is now made of such flimsy cardboard that they are of use for nothing once you have opened them - at least the older style, whilst still too large, could be used for storage - these are just bin fodder. Bad for the consumer and bad for the planet.

Good but not great expansion. The two new characters (Lily and Charlie) are nothing special. Behind Closed Doors is ridiculously difficult to win the first time you play it (and still hard to win even after you know exactly what to do). The only redeeming part of this expansion is the Twilight Diadem scenario. It is quite good and somewhat unique. So I guess if money is no big deal and you love MoM2, buy this, otherwise you can easily give it a pass.

Behind Closed Doors - very boring thing, you just looking around to collect enough evidences. No plot, no enemys, no challenges at all. The Twilight Diadem - much better, but seems that 4 players is too much for that scenario. Some evidences we get earlier than received clues for them. At least there is a good story and social deduction. P.S. Lily Chen is such a cute hottie! She gives you a really rare feeling of roleplaying in this game.
