Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

If you love Marvel Champions, this expansion is a solid addition to the game. It's also a better deal, price wise, than if you purchased all of these cards in individual expansions, even though that's not really possible. All I'm saying is that this expansion is a bigger bang for your buck.

I'm not that fond of sci-fi. Not even when it's accompanied with the quirky fun Guardians. Good solid hero decks could've saved this set but they're sadly a bit lackluster and I've heard the Collector is so terrible solo... Also, why did the publishers.. dunno. Rocket and Groot grew on me, but I still didn't love them. I thought the Collector, Nebula, and the Escape the Museum scenario were interesting, but I couldn't see myself playing them often. (Luckily Nebula the hero replicates her villain abilities.) I was also grumpy with how frustratingly difficult Ronan was.
