Skarn’s origins lie shrouded in mystery. Some believe that he has always guarded the manor house, even before the death of the High Mage that lived there. Others suggest that he was unintentionally created from residual magic released by the wizard’s death.

Żetony zagrożenia można zastąpić czymkolwiek i grać żetonem zamiast figurką.

At least one lieutenant pack is necessary for any Overlord playing Descent. The game is more than a bit unbalanced in favor of the heroes and these provide more options for the Overlord that might give him a bit of a fighting chance. These lieutenant packs contain a deck of cards, tokens, and a plastic miniature. The deck of cards provides the Overlord with some additional options by spending tokens that he earns through adventures. This eventually swings back in the favor of the heroes a little bit because after spending these tokens they are given to the heroes to use for small bonuses. An Overlord can only use one lieutenant pack per campaign so I haven't used them all but have bought many due to the awesome plastic miniature to replace the cardboard token representing most of the villains in the game. One day I plan to paint them all but that is more of a pipe dream than attainable goal...
