This is a hard one for me to judge the worth of. I didn't quite understand until after I placed an order for this that it just reprinted 4 heroes and 3 monsters from the first edition of the game. I already had the upgrade pack that gave me cards for all the old heroes and monsters. However, it also comes with figures for those heroes and monsters. I was using proxies since I didn't own any of the first edition content (the upgrade pack is still a great value for the amount of content you get for ~20 bucks) and now for these specific monsters/heroes I have incredibly detailed figures. FFG always does a bang-up job on these. It does come with another quest (initiated through a rumor card) and the associated Overlord quest reward card but that's minor. I adore Descent and plan to play it for a good while so I was able to justify the price, between 20-25 bucks online. You get a lot of plastic for that even if I do already have all the necessary cards. I guess at some point if they reprint all of the first edition stuff I can turn around and gift/sell/trade the upgrade pack and just recoup that cost anyway.

Heroes: Laurel of Bloodwood, Shiver, Trenloe the Strong, Elder Mok Monsters: Razorwings, Beastmen, Bane spiders. 2 quests. The variety of the chosen heroes makes, narrative wise, a cool self contained team. The monster selection, on the other hand, lacks a strong one, which puts it in a disadvantage compared to the other H&M Packs. Good sculpts in general.

This is from a collection of Descent 2nd Edition I bought from a friend. They are played, but will come with the original boxes, though they are opened. I do not have the time to immerse myself into playing and collecting Descent 2nd Edition so I am willing to trade what's in my collection towards other games. Thanks for looking!
