1 play / 4 players LIKE: I enjoyed seeing which cards I to each round, then attempting to push my luck for one more card. I liked upgrading my cards and how the number of cards in the deck was limited. This is unlike other deck builders where the deck gets bigger, this one stays constant. DISLIKE: All the tiny text on all the cards, and to make matters worse, the cards are shiny which makes it difficult to see anything. The cards had high variance, so I found it very random. I also felt the variation of icons were limited, making each turn feel dull and rote. OVERALL: I'm not a huge fan of deckbuilders. This one was okay, but the small text was an extreme turnoff. The expansion added even more text, so for me, I didn't enjoy it. I suspect this to be better as a two-player game. Similar games: Splendor, Dominion

An interesting take on the deck-building concept. Always the same amount of cards in your deck and luck-dependent number of cards drawn make for fun dynamics

Better as an app, enough so that I parted with my physical copy. It's just a lot of work to do that much setup and teardown for what's essentially a deckbuilder. That said, it's a really, really good deckbuilder.
