Very fun dungeon crawler, with time pressure. I liked the scaling for two players (it plays 1-5), but it did feel like 3 players might be better. Two chars felt pretty limiting at times, and we got destroyed by all the horror without even making it halfway through the scenario. Would gladly play again, but would want to play the first edition and see which I prefer.

From a mechanical perspective, there really isn't much in the way of meaningful decisions to make in the game, and some of the scenarios are loooong. But on the other hand, it's one of the most engaging storytelling games I've played, and doesn't *feel* anywhere near as long as Arkham / Eldritch even though it often is. The cost of buying not only the game, but enough scenarios to keep it interesting, is also fairly outrageous - and fortunately a burden I don't have to bear. A mixed bag which overall I seem to enjoy. Will become a staple part of my case for being an Omnigamer...

First time playing as 2 players, spent 5hours to played, miniature bases are bad and burden. The game is however very thematic and streamlined with the app helping to setup and create the atmosphere. I also like the insanity and injuries conditions. My first scenario was like broken leg millionaire and insane sprinter working together. We encounter thematic events like getting whacked by book rain, burnt by candles, casting spells with paybacks.
