Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Amazingly good expansion. The way it splits up your team is the most novel mechanic I’ve seen in the game. There are so many versions of Kang to face, you can replay this scenario very often and it will constantly feel new. There are three difficulties of villain encounter sets, and we found that, other than the easiest set, these were all very, very hard to beat.

Another villain and another flip on what you expect from a scenario. Its mechanically quite complex... but doesn't feel that way and I think the time travel mechanic is very well done. I love that the second stage has players split from one another

Great scenario pack for those who don't play solo. It's truly designed with three or four players in mind, it seems. But it plays awesome at these player counts.
