The vicious Bol’Goreth rampages through the wildlands at the edge of the Valdari Marsh, and those left in his wake babble terrifying tales of destruction. However, dark rumors hint at something more sinister behind the simple-minded brutality: something horrific that threatens to spill out across the realm.

DESCENT: JOURNEYS IN THE DARK (SECOND EDITION) THE TROLLFENS More of everyting I love about 'Descent' especially new quests!
Agerion
More of the same from Lair of the Wyrm. More of everything, but in a small trickle. The new Infector class for the Overlord, though, makes this expansion worth it. It can get tiring moving cannon fodder around to get slaughtered and every once in a while playing a handy card. It can be endlessly entertaining to put the infection tokens on the players and watch them squirm in fear each time they do any action, fearing that you'll reap the infection you've sown right then and there. This helps the players to feel like there are more tricks and traps waiting for them even if they slog through the enemies like they were made of sticks and hay.
Gaius
Much like it's expansion counterparts, it's a worthy one to have if you enjoy the campaign setting, especially in conjunction with Labyrinth of Ruin. Both added hero classes in Trollfens are pretty good and the monsters are decent. As always, the tiles and other elements are beautifully done, but of course you're paying top dollar for this level of quality.
