With Lieutenant Packs for Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition, you can replace the game’s lieutenant tokens and bring the overlord’s most powerful agents to life. The Splig Lieutenant Pack features a detailed plastic figure that places its deadly operative, the “King of all Goblins,” on equal footing with Terrinoth’s champions. Moreover, it includes a plot deck and rules that allow the overlord to pursue devious new strategies, inserting this fat and cowardly goblin into any quest as his nefarious agent!

Great miniature, as you'd expect from Descent 2.0, but the whole threat token thing felt less like a fun new tactical option for the overlord and more like just another annoying thing to keep track of. Probably not worth it.

I bought this for the miniature. I will probably never use the extra rules, so it's too much money just for the mini. For a better price I would surely have bought all lieutenants.

Splig turned out to be my group's favorite character: the only one that somehow managed to best them, in addition to having a great character design and a fun attitude to roleplay. Everyone ended up loving Splig. Now the, er, Spligyness never stops with the ability to summon him at any time, and additional powers focused on the small, weak creatures he reigns over, such as goblins and kobolds. Definitely a different experience than one or two heavy hitting monsters.
