Bought this along with Mists of Bilehall to play them together as a new campaign. The hybrid classes are lazy and not especially interesting, the new monsters are pretty innovative and cool, especially if you like undead and the new "campaign" is very different and super hard. However, you do end up getting less for more money than a single big-box expansion... House rules level: See base game

I really like Descent so there is no real surprise that this comes at 10/10. The Chains that Rust is a very unique campaign, because it can also be played after finishing Mists of Bilehall. I like that aspect of the campaign quite much and also I feel that lieutenants that come with this expansion are more interesting that some of the others.

Great little dungeon crawler. I’ve only played co-op with the wife and the app. Very fun. Battles were perilous. Creatures and monsters were varied enough to require different strategies. Very fun
