the best deck building in my collection for many aspect. The artwork, the dice, the mechanics. Highly recommended

Two plays with Kelly and I really think this one is a hit. She got a bit upset that I won the second game, but I think we'll be able to get it back to the table. She is pretty interested in draft mechanics, so I think she'll enjoy the "advanced" play a bit more.

The first time I played Seasons was back in September 2013. The rating then was a three. Fast forward to November 15, 2015. I had forgotten I had played the game. The person teaching opens the game box, and I recognize it. I learn the game again. She does a fairly good job of explaining the game, decides to skip a part of it that only benefits experienced players, and the experience is better. Not great, but better. My rating went up to four, and while I still don't like the game, I may have been a smidgen too forceful with the original review. The real problem isn't the number of cards, but how you need to draft a deck on the fly at the very beginning of the game, with no guarantee that you'll get the tokens you need to execute your plan. Essentially, your first few moves are playing blind. So, as I said once, "I can see why some people would like it, although I've never understood why people find those games enjoyable." Original Review: The game is far too random, and there are too many cards to keep track of. I can see why some people would like it, although I've never understood why people find those games enjoyable.
