Superb game and I would say one of the very best DoaM in existence. Refined modern design that builds upon the best in the genre. The card+action system gives a lot of variety and spectacle. All actions feel overpowered, so that no one of them actually is, in a way only the best games manage. Manages to integrate a lot of fighting without the combat becoming repetitive, due to the decisions during combat. Combat is not a big deal to lose (same as Kemet), you can even gain from losing by making smart decisions during it. Still, the game avoids gamey situations where you 'want' to lose like the loki strat in Blood Rage. Perfect amount of luck mitigation with the dice. Great idea to reduce loser-bashing and reward risk-taking by making the amount of VP depend on the size of the army beaten. Compared to Blood Rage / Rising Sun, less dependent on card combos that just happen to give you lots of points. Instead, you need to use the cards actively in combat. Synergies feel very satisfying due to this.

Combat heavy skirmish miniatures game with a post apocalyptic theme. Think Mad Max...with horses....and bears....and wolves...and no vehicles! Combat relies on dice and cardplay. Gathering resources, movement and recruitment is all by cards. Not really an area control game as an area domination?! A hold on any territory makes you subject to attack! Comes with a solo mode and a competitive mode.
