Unlock! Epic Adventures is the seventh release of the series and features three new "escape room" scenarios that you can play on your tabletop.
Unlock! is a co-operative card game inspired by escape rooms that uses a simple system which allows you to search scenes, combine objects, and solve riddles. Play Unlock! to embark on great adventures, while seated at a table using only cards and a companion app that can provide clues, check codes, monitor time remaining, etc. The three scenarios are:
• The Seventh Screening – Grab your popcorn! Tonight, the horror movie "The Werewolf’s Final Night" premiers. Will you get through unharmed?
• The Dragon’s Seven Tests – The Gold Dragons temple welcomes every seven years new disciples. Be worthy of Mater Li’s teachings.
• Mission #07 – EAGLE, the secret organization, has been infiltrated. Agents, it’s up to you to identify the mole!

Probably my favorite box in the lineup. Mission #07 is maybe my favorite scenario of all the Unlocks. The Seventh Screening is also up there too. The Dragon's Seven Tests is definitely the runt of the group but 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Why This Is No Longer In The Collection: It's an escape room game. Duh. I gave it away.

"The Seventh Screening" : 8.5/10 - Good story that we felt like we were in. Mostly easy puzzles, just one that was a little strange and felt like a hiccup in the story. "The Dragon's Seven Tests" : 9/10 - Good story flow throughout, and fun puzzles in this one. "Mission #07" : 7.5/10 - Really mixed feeling since several puzzles were fantastic, but two puzzles were terrible and frustrating... There were more puzzles that we had to use some clues than I would have liked, and some that left me scratching my head after reading the clue or solution.

The Seventh Screening - 8.5 Very easy scenario. I really enjoyed the story, you are first watching a black and white horror movie and then transported into it. There was one really laugh out loud moment. The final puzzle is pretty much told to you on how to solve it, it's just a matter of executing it correctly. Not very challenging overall, but the story was memorable. The Dragon's Seven Tests - 8 Some really cool puzzles, but also felt this adventure was really long and there were cards we were given that we kept trying to solve too early before it was time without knowing when we were supposed to start solving them. We also accidentally solved the final puzzle about 3/4 of the way through the game while trying to solve another puzzle. The story was a bit weak as well, but some cool puzzles nonetheless. Mission #07 - 9 For a 3 star level adventure, the difficulty felt on par with 1 star adventures. There is a lot of VR usage here, which is always fun, but the story itself was just ok. However, this mission probably had the best final puzzle in the entire series Overall - 8.5 Another solid and enjoyable edition of Unlock adventures. The designers are making some really creative adventures that don't feel like ordinary escape room games.
