Unlock! Epic Adventures is the seventh release of the series and features three new "escape room" scenarios that you can play on your tabletop.
Unlock! is a co-operative card game inspired by escape rooms that uses a simple system which allows you to search scenes, combine objects, and solve riddles. Play Unlock! to embark on great adventures, while seated at a table using only cards and a companion app that can provide clues, check codes, monitor time remaining, etc. The three scenarios are:
• The Seventh Screening – Grab your popcorn! Tonight, the horror movie "The Werewolf’s Final Night" premiers. Will you get through unharmed?
• The Dragon’s Seven Tests – The Gold Dragons temple welcomes every seven years new disciples. Be worthy of Mater Li’s teachings.
• Mission #07 – EAGLE, the secret organization, has been infiltrated. Agents, it’s up to you to identify the mole!

Includes 3 scenarios: The Seventh Screening Difficulty level: :star::nostar::nostar: Rating: [bgcolor=#66FF99]¬8¬[/bgcolor] We liked the black & white film twist. Has you break up into two teams for a short while with each team relaying information to the other. This worked well for us playing with only 2 players. The movie plot didn't really make a lot of sense to us, but the overall adventure was interesting. The Dragon's Seven Tests Difficulty level: :star::star::nostar: Rating: [bgcolor=#00CC00]¬10¬[/bgcolor] Codes are swapped out for a pattern-matching "Yi King" mechanism, which we thought worked well and was a welcome change. Pass the seven tests and Master Li will take you on as disciples. Great adventure with a nice theme. Mission #07 Difficulty level: :star::star::star: Rating: [bgcolor=#00CC00]¬10¬[/bgcolor] You get four characters for this one, each with a unique ability/specialism. The Hi-Tech Glasses provided an AR experience via the app. It was fun to scan the cards, finding secrets in some of them. The story is split into two parts, but you're meant to play them back-to-back (in order to finish the adventure and get a score from the app). The first part revolves around finding out which spy is a mole, and the second has you stopping his/her evil plot. We enjoyed both parts and they felt somewhat different, which was nice. One small criticism is that we felt they could have used the characters abilities more. We also found this one easier than the average :star::star::star: difficulty adventure, and finished it with quite a bit of time to spare.
