Group think town building optimisation game. Strangely like tetris, with multi layered optimisation over the top
adamscottstewart
Soloable. Tiny Towns is an attractive, medium light, bingo/flip and write/grid coverage game. It involves arranging cubes in polynomial shapes to then convert to 8 building types on a 4x4 player board which interact with one another for different action and scoring possibilities. It is easy to play, but difficult to master.

Excellent thinky filler that is very easy to teach, but is secretly a hardcore spatial puzzle that requires you to pay attention not only to your board, but other players. Can be surprisingly cutthroat as you can fill up other player's boards, by forcing them to build materials they don't need. Probably best at 2-4, any higher gets too chaotic and the roll-and-write variant looses the interaction which gives this it's charm.
