Ticket to Ride Map Collection: Volume 5 – United Kingdom & Pennsylvania contains a double-sided game board with new rules for use with Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride: Europe with players now creating train lines in the British Isles and in Pennsylvania.

While Pennsylvania is merely OK, it's the United Kingdom map that brings Ticket to Ride to a whole new level in my eyes. Using any four cards as a single wildcard makes top decking not annoying, and having to separately buy your abilities to lay track into different spots adds an engine building aspect to the game. You simply cannot hoard a massive number of cards, but have to start building very early instead. This is the expansion that brought back my interest to play Ticket to Ride. It's not really a good fit for beginners, but very satisfying for people who've already seen it all.

Newer purchase. Own ToR Europe and Swiss map--enjoy both. Wife enjoyed new options with UK side of map. Both felt the tech items might need some tweaking or house rules, depending on how they play over time. Buying into a new area adds a twist, as you can't just start laying track anywhere. PA side played once so far. Adds an interesting twist, as you my come out ahead in the end with shorter routes but additional shares of a particular company.

UK is my favorite among the Ticket to Ride expansions. The game is harder than regular Ticket to Ride, you need to develop technology to build ferries and lines longer than 2. You also need concessions to build outside England. I think this made the game more interresting. Haven't played the Pennsylvania map yet.
