THANKS, SECRET ATTICUS 2015! Variable mechanisms will add some hinky twists to an old favorite. Penn, with its stock options, looks particularly good. While I'll admit to be weary of TtR, everyone in the family enjoys it, and it's accessible to my nine-year-old, so I'm happy enough for the opportunity to game with my family. Pennsylvania is my favorite map of all-time. The constant stock picking requires you to pay attention the entire game and encourages you to build early than wait to lay down all your tracks at once.
