Our third TTR game - because we loved the US and Euro versions so much. The connected cities bonus is my favorite part of this game. I prefer it over the longest route. We now use both bonuses in some five-player contests on all boards.

130923 The whole team thing is a fine little twist in the mechanics of this game. But I prefer vanilla TTR. However, if you look at my Marklin and Europe ratings...or just my ratings in general you'll realize 6 is pretty damn good.

The Legendary Asia map is fine, and all, with interesting twists, but is ultimately the same game. The "lost train" feature does make those shorter routes more interesting, as it's a better value for trains used / cards spent than on longer routes, and it can also allow players to sort of rush the end of the game, which hurts long routes / big ticket strategies. The Team Asia map was a lot of fun, and plenty interesting in terms of trying to figure out what destinations to reveal and what to share and what to extrapolate from the information. Adds some really, really cool twists to the game system.
