2-5 (4, 6). After 3-4 plays of both maps, simply the best release in the series. Best thing to get after you get USA or Europe. Cheap, two awesome maps, names in English, great mechanics... just awesome. Review: http://meepletown.com/2011/12/your-guide-to-ticket-to-ride-part-5-ticket-to-ride-asia/

Played Team Asia (once) -- A fun, gunboat diplomacy style team game. Lots of luck, but you have to think at a "Does he know that I know" level of partnership. However, as in most TTR games, drawing tickets that compliment each other well is the best skill to have. Rating -- Indifferent/Suggest (depends on crowd)

A great addition to the Ticket to Ride family: two maps that bring new and different play modes to the game, without adding too much in terms of burdening rules. Team Asia has a delightful new “play as a couple” mode, with shared and own destinations and train cards. It brilliantly avoids the alpha player syndrome banning talk between players and keeping some of the information private. Legendary Asia is a faster map, with perilous routes that cause players to lose trains, that score victory points at the end of the game. This leads to some fierce competition for these short routes, that oftentimes are neglected in other maps. One of the best expansions for the system!
