Great version that plays great with 2-5 players, routes are interesting with a chunk of grey tracks. Meeples at stations add another dynamic to the map, giving you the decision to either collect them early as they can add a big chunk onto the score at the end of the game or collect en route to tickets. It does add time onto setup but only a couple of minutes once you work out the distribution. Well made game that is a family favourite.

A by the numbers Ticket To Ride variant that feels very familiar. The wrinkle here is claiming a route earns you up to two passengers in six or so different colours. Collected passengers pay off for colour majorities at the end of the game (20 and 10 points for first and second). Nice to play, and it encourages earlier, shorter routes to get the passengers quickly.

Does Moon have any other original thought? Enough all ready. Picked it up cheap, that passenger pick up kind of ruins this, causes too much blocking because of people trying to cash in on those passenger points. The passenger pickup mechanism, that is different, works in the Märklin version because of their limited use numbers. You know they could have easily added the Marklin passenger cards, the extra locomotives and you could have played that version with this set. The only thing going for this version is it has the standard cards and train count as the regular versions so unlike the Märklin version you can play the non standard alone versions with this version. Marklin is the better game over this version. This is best played without the passengers.
