This is the first board game that my six year old has really gotten into. It's very similar to the adult version but with some slimmed down rules, fewer routes, larger pieces, and prominent icons for each city to assist with route identification. I usually play on a team with my 4 year old and he's been enjoying it as well. Would definitely recommend if you like Ticket to Ride and have younger children.

This is Locke's (5) favourite new game, overtaking Flea Circus! He is constantly asking for this and does a great job of keeping up with everyone else. He is yet to win, but he is close every time. We just need to show him the most efficient way to get to his tickets, especially when he receives new tickets. He gets stuck on finishing them in the order he receives them. Adults are happy to play this with him, as we can enjoy the tactics that are still apparent. We may add in TTR rules about having a row of cards to pick from.

I think that they dumbed down take it to ride a bit too much. Ticket to Ride is already a pretty simple game, and I feel this makes it almost Shoots and Ladders low difficulty. It might be okay for 4-5 year olds, but anyone passed 7 will find this game too easy.
