This is the perfect family game for younger grade school children. My daughter even has picked up some geography from it. Doesn't dumb the game down so much that it isn't fun and still maintains the critical aspects of Ticket to Ride.

All draws being random kills this completely, IMO. Not even my son has asked for this as often as London or New York, though we got this one later. I think those games are much better for children than this one.

This is the first board game that my six year old has really gotten into. It's very similar to the adult version but with some slimmed down rules, fewer routes, larger pieces, and prominent icons for each city to assist with route identification. I usually play on a team with my 4 year old and he's been enjoying it as well. Would definitely recommend if you like Ticket to Ride and have younger children.
