Good for children, but very random, even more than "full version". All tickets give the same points and they have different difficulty. Short tracks give huge advantage to players who draw wild cards. At least it's short enough to keep child interested.

Board looks very chaotic during the game and I needed to stay very focused to see the connection between some cities, especially when there were more and more trains. I think it's matter of too contrasting colors and too big distances between tracks. It was a bit tiring at first play after being used to regular of TtR where board is super clear.

I am a Ticket to Ride enthusiastic so I couldn't avoid bringing my 6 years old son into it. I think this is the game I enjoy more playing with him, even if I have to spent most of the time helping him to stay focused on the strategy instead of messing around with the little wagons. Definitely a must have game for kids between 6 and 10 years.
