With elegantly simple gameplay, Ticket to Ride can be learned in under 15 minutes, while providing players with intense strategic and tactical decisions every turn. Players collect cards of various types of train cars they then use to claim railway routes in North America. The longer the routes, the more points they earn. Additional points come to those who fulfill Destination Tickets – goal cards that connect distant cities; and to the player who builds the longest continuous route.

Decent, light simple game, but everyone quickly tires of this one. I use the same strategy every time (take the lowest value tickets, hoard cards to play on the biggest tracks) and rarely lose. Introduced to me by a friend, on xboxlive. Now I can return the favour, by getting him the actual game it was based upon. He got hooked to the xbox version, now he can enjoy it how it was meant to be played.

If you survive to monopoly, this is the next family game! Is a little bit more complex, but such great to play with the small trains and feeling that you are doing great missions! or just avoiding the other players to reach their final destination! Great game!
