Would be rated higher if there was more value for money. Still, I love Seasons, and more power cards is awesome. Lots of superfluous bits. A couple of pieces of cardboard for 2 or 3 cards that MAY come up. Enchantments are ok, but variable player powers seem unbalanced. And really, a start player token should have been included right off the bat.

Seasons expansions are great at adding cards and, this way, expand the life of your game. But the other additions are not that great. "Special ability tokens" are the most deceiving addition. They could have been great if they had worked as "leader cards" work in 7 Wonders. These give you a game-long special effect or increase points of other cards. This, in Seasons, would have helped develop or reinforce strategies. Instead, the "speacial ability token" is activated once in the game and works as the bonuses we already had in the base game.

some great new cards and Dragon Skull (AKA trash) slowly getting indirectly buffed is good, and the alternate drafting options are neat to at least know about... doubt I will ever use the other enchantments and I'm unlikely to use the abilities too
