The expansion brings to Seasons a various array of add-ons. There are new enchantment cards that modify the rules of the game for all players (draw one at random at the beginning of the game). There are one-shot bonus tokens that provide unique abilities (each player draws three and keeps one at the beginning of the game). There are (2x) twenty new cards, adding some more variety to the game. Overall, it is not a bad expansion: it adds "slightly" to the game, without altering it too much, in a somewhat "gentle" way. It is not, on the other hand, groundbreaking either. I suppose every fan of the base game should buy it after many dozens of plays, to add variety.
Base the Bass
Interesting expansion, abilities are good but not innovative, they resemble the extra actions, while the cards offer more diversity and combos.

Would be rated higher if there was more value for money. Still, I love Seasons, and more power cards is awesome. Lots of superfluous bits. A couple of pieces of cardboard for 2 or 3 cards that MAY come up. Enchantments are ok, but variable player powers seem unbalanced. And really, a start player token should have been included right off the bat.
