The expansion brings to Seasons a various array of add-ons. There are new enchantment cards that modify the rules of the game for all players (draw one at random at the beginning of the game). There are one-shot bonus tokens that provide unique abilities (each player draws three and keeps one at the beginning of the game). There are (2x) twenty new cards, adding some more variety to the game. Overall, it is not a bad expansion: it adds "slightly" to the game, without altering it too much, in a somewhat "gentle" way. It is not, on the other hand, groundbreaking either. I suppose every fan of the base game should buy it after many dozens of plays, to add variety.

1st play: I really enjoyed the combo-ability of the new cards, it felt like both my opponent and I were able to pull off some cool moves. The bonus power that's once per game didn't seem very impactful, take or leave. The enchantments made the game harder, but it actually liked the extra tactical decisions they forced. 2nd play: I like the extra options from the extra cards, but the enchantments add a layer of complexity I'm not sure the game benefits from. Variability is good, but I'm not sure I'll play it enough time to need this add-on. The player powers seem pretty disparate and obvious, take or leave this also.

Cards look good, yet to play. Looking forward to having a much bigger deck when I get round to including it!
