Solid expansion. If you want to mix up the board, here it is. You can get a lot of plays with the original board though.

Creates almost infinite replayability in a game that I already see as the most replayable game ever. The cherry on top for people like me with 200+ plays. Only for truly hardcore scythers

In theory this would be a great expansion. Creating varying starting conditions instead of playing on the same stale map. In practice though it can create weird balancing issues. For example we randomized a map that put the Nordic starting position nowhere near a single river tile,thus rendering their ability and consequently the faction completely useless. OK,you could switch the tile ,someone could argue ,and put some rivers closer to their starting position but then why would you not switch another tile to make another faction more viable to choose?And so on and so forth. You would have to have a group that is OK with houseruling parts of the setup for this to be a recommendable expansion.
