A fantastic game. Sure there are some flaws in the execution (box sized, insert layouts, rules goofs, etc. But the game itself is fun, interactive for all, and we find that there is little quarterbacking opportunity and so far is a great 2 player game!

The box has been updated so the pieces are not flying everywhere and I'm guessing is not so much a pain to setup because there's so many little pieces. Which is why I'm giving this five stars cause the company is trying to fix their mistakes, which there were a lot of when this game came out from kickstarter. The game for our group was a bit boring, very linear gameplay. It did become challenging with all the little abilities and things the minions coming out stopped us from doing but at the end of the day it felt like you put down specific towers in specific places and as long as you don't completely mess up your character movement, which is hard cause everyone's staring at the board) then you are fine and you'll win. And that's it. So why five stars? Cause to our group that's incredibly boring. Everyone sit down and quickly figure out what needs to go where and who needs to do what doesn't take us long to get before the scenario is over and you put another sticker on the board. I wish it were more interesting then that but for us it just isn't. For those that like linear puzzle solvers then this game is for you a hundred percent and I think you'll enjoy it cause there's enough puzzle here to give you your money's worth. Even with the different towers and characters it just felt rigid and methodical.

Beautiful, but the level curve is brutal. Can't find specific rules (like what difficulty means), no pictures of how to store the 1 million pieces in the box, had to scrub through youtube videos to find a decent guess. Way to puzzley for me, some may like this, but when the random swing is "oh you lose this game" rather than "look at this cool play" it feels bad. The core mechanics of dudes getting damage tiles on, and moving heroes around to kill them is awesome though, even if it is fiddly.
