(Feb 2019) This one is...alright. It's biggest issue for me is just how unintuitive the rules are. Part of the reason I have only played it once is because I know I will have to relearn the rules to get it back to the table. And for anyone who's never played before this rules teach is long. Another negative is how the game feels like a lot of actions for not a lot of payoff. It just doesn't feel like it builds up to anything. Lastly, the player count aspect makes this game feel like it really should be a 2p game. At the odd number counts you're playing the Balance race which I have my doubts about. At 4 it's 2v2 and works alright but at 5 and 6 I can see this taking way too long. This is all based off just one play so take this with a grain of salt but of the three Mindclash games I do know for sure it's the one I'm least interested in playing. (January 2020): 6.5 => 5 Dropping this one down mostly because as time has passed I just have no desire to play this again and I have to rate it honestly. Not only would relearning the convoluted rules be a big hurdle, but the game just is meh. It's very eye catching and great components but the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Played through 2 handed by myself to learn this beast. I love games with dense rules and this one has that in spades. I have not gotten it to the table yet but I hope to soon...

7.5 after playing a few more, best with 2 players due to it favor of the Alpha player. The game learning curve didn't match the game length. The game is fun but really need to invest a lot of time and experience players to make it reach full potential. 8 initiate rating after one basic gameplay. need more plays
