Card Games
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

This is a great, quick adaptation of an amazing larger board. If I had the time I would play "The Inside World" but when it needs to be fast and sweet, then this card game does the trick. There is a long list of variable card powers, that can be used multiple times. Same great artwork, but painted on a much, much leaner shell.

12/20: Works well enough, but there are some awkward parts of this game. The two actions are interrupted a lot with events, so easy to lose count. There is no rule as to who goes next in the following turns, a bit of an oversight. We just rotated it to the next player. I won both games, but the game was very fast and the second came very close as she made a big comeback in the last play.

Beautiful artwork as found in Cerebria. The card game was thrown together for the KS and it really felt like it. Just a mashup of actions. Not much fun.
