This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

1 play / 3 players LIKE: I like the rotation of the workers and bumping other players. It felt interactive that way. Some nice ideas with the set colleciton. DISLIKE: There are card powers that are clearly better than others, ie. the shaking hands spaces to take cards is quite an advantage. Also , the card symbols for the set collection come out randomly, and the randomness is felt if the X card that you need does not appear for several rounds, or someone else takes it after it appears. It might be just enough randomness to feel bitter and turn me away from the game. OVERALL: A fun version of the game, I found it simple and non-complex, but enough puzzle and interaction to be acceptable. There's nothing different from this or the Golem version other than the "card power" icons match the action spaces thematically a bit better. I feel the "shaking hands" bonus ability should NOT be applied to the top row for taking cards. Seems vastly skewed. Also played the Golem version, I found it enjoyable.

I liked this more than Spice Road I think, but less than Sand to Sea. Nice intro worker placement and was the first WP game with worker 'bumping' that I didn't hate. I wasn't a super fan of how randomly the contract/goal/point cards came out.

It is doing the same, as Century Spice Road, but with slightly more complicated rules. Doing the same thing with more complicated rules is not better, it is slightly worse.
