Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.
Deck / Pool Building
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

Between this and Splendor, I choose this. We can play up to 5 player when Splendor only 4. More in depth strategy and doesn't make the gameplay really tense in a bad way.

10+ plays / 2,3,4,5 players LIKE: Quick, simple system that anyone can jump into. I like figuring out the conversions and looking for good combinations. The engine-building cards are fun when you amass a big hand. Subtle strategies emerge, but it is clearly a race. DISLIKE: The game seemed static and predictable at two players, especially when no one was buying new market cards, but once players realize the power of cards, the market is much more interesting. Players cannot be slowed down when almost getting a point card, so the interaction is a bit low. OVERALL: At first I thought the 2-player game was static, but after seeing the value of cards and the speed which better market cards can create cubes and claim points, I think 2 player and 3-player work just fine. I still favor Splendor because it feels more dynamic from turn to turn.

Simple rules, excellent for casual or expert people, perfect playing time. May be one of the best card games ever!
