Beautiful artwork and introduces a really interesting mechanic that could be fun to use if other modules incorporate it. Unfortunately its use in this module is not very well done. Extremely linear module that just got boring over time; seemingly only one right path to victory and is more an exercise in optimization than anything else. "Puzzles" here were underwhelming. Easily the weakest module to date.

This scenario was much less combat oriented. I only had 4 combats the whole scenario. There is also a big puzzle to solve near the end that leads to insta-death if you are wrong. The art in this one was the best of any others so far, at least to me. The T.I.M.E. Stories system has really captured me and I am thrilled to see where it is going next. Ranking of modules so far (to me at least): 1. Asylum (Base Game) 2. A Prophecy of Dragona 3. The Marcy Case 4. Under the Mask

We loved the original T.I.M.E. Stories and couldn't wait for expansions. They are still fun but we kind of wish it would change itself just a bit more (the background arching story between versions is lost on us as we don't play them sequentially or often enough to remember all the little clues/details). This release started okay, and has some fun new ideas and encounters, but we had to play it one too many times to conquer it...it lost it's fun and just needed to be completed.
