T.I.M.E. Stories continues to delight me. This expansion added several things new to the game. There is an actual "time traveling" twist in here which is really fun and a nice surprise. I won't go into any more details. I also went through this expansion differently than the others. I played 4 player solo and it took me 4 runs to complete. I decided to take extensive notes at each location. This was to make up for the fact that I had no-one else to bounce ideas off of. By the 4th run, I knew exactly where to go and where to skip and exactly what order to do it in. I will probably do this with the next expansion as well. So, how does Expedition Endurance rank among all of the other T.I.M.E. Stories packs? Here is my current ranking: 1. Asylum (Base Game) 2. Expedition Endurance 3. A Prophecy of Dragons 4. The Marcy Case 5. Under the Mask I would run a new player through E.E. if they are really into storytelling and theme as this is probably the most thematic of the sets. Highly recommended!

After the lame duck "Under the Mask", "Expedition: Endurance" felt like a true return to form. There is an exciting twist right out of the gate, and what follows is a truly thematic, action packed ride through creepy circumstances and paranormal forces. My only complaint is that it was very short. Our group, who usually tries to see everything, explore, and have fun instead of being efficient and maximizing points, managed to finish this in one evening of play (three runs all in). As I said, it was very exciting, thematic, and enjoyable, but we were all slightly sad that we didn't get to spend more time in the world. As a consolation though, this also seems to be the first very re-playable scenario. Given that and the thrills we felt playing, I really think the brevity is made up for.

This time the T.I.M.E agents are cast just a little back in time, to visit Anctartica in 1914 and solve a mistery about an expedition in the ice. There is another, very clever, new twist. Another very enjoyable installment in the series!
