I was pretty excited for this one. I love the story of Ernest Shackleton, his crew, and their ship, Endurance. But I was disappointed that the game designers linked it to [o]Cthulhu lore.[/o] Still a great setting and interesting game moments.

Really, really, really enjoyed this one. Every location set the theme incredibly well, and contributed greatly towards immersion in the story. Even things that were minor felt impactful, and all of the decisions were weighed as if they were the most important decision in the game. Did two loops with a 4p group that fell apart, and played again with a friend. 4p experience was much more immersive and fun, while 2p game was lesser but still a great experience. I liked Marcy Case more, and Prophecy of Dragons slightly more-ish (mechanics worse, tempo better). This scenario had fewer options than other scenarios, despite doing a great job setting the theme, so it's rated lower as the experience felt samey after a first loop.

Started off super compelling with a cool new hook, but didn't quite deliver on the promise. Still fun though!
