Rules were a bit more unclear in this game. I liked the story and some of the hints that seem to pointing to an overarching story. I liked what happened about halfway through the mission.

We had high hopes for APoD between the theme/presentation and hearing how much friends enjoyed it who hadn't enjoyed the Asylum. However ... Totally underwhelming. I think there was promise in this one, but it was just trying to do way too much and seemed spread very thin. Actually made us all appreciate The Marcy Case more in hindsight, so ... there's that?

●●○○○ Story ●●●○○ Mechanics ●●○○○ Overall -Story is very bad. No arc. No background. Lots and lots of chaotic things going on. Linear. (well there are 3-4 methods but apart from 1 all are pretty simplistic) -Some new and interesting mechanics are introduced which are nice but unfortunately they don't build very much on the story. -Oh and most annoying things: It's a chuckfest, very luck dependent, and there are no meaningful decisions to make. -Art is good as always. -There is one REALLY COOL place in the game. -Also: there didn't seem to be any point of the TIME TRAVELLING aspect of the game. If you are very lucky you may not even need a 2nd run...
