Can you and your party survive the madness, or will you succumb to the mayhem and split (or slaughter!) the party?

Big fan of Betrayal gameplay in general (love the randomness and exploration) - Baldur's Gate theme is a plus!

I really want to like this game, as the concept of 50 different scenarios and the mid game betrayal is brilliant. Unfortunately it feels devoid of meaningful choices and the scenarios have too many rules ambiguities and are too lengthy for my taste. The teach of this game is also very weird, do you explain everything, wasting a lot of time on rules you might not need or do you teach only what you need for the first phase and have an awkward situation when the haunt triggers resulting in rules confusion for the haunted player(while wanting to keep certain information secret).

When I first played this Game I was unimpressed I thought it was entirely too random the warlock and the barbarian were broken and the entire premise felt forced but as I kept playing over and over I kept finding the parts that make this game so unique and awesome. I have changed my mind entirely and I believe this is a very refreshing game that uses a ton of great innovative ideas to breathe more life into an already great (if not over used however) forgotten realms setting. this is a wonderful game and worth the money and time, but beware if it is your first time playing it can be rather difficult understanding what to do and the rules as the betrayer.
