A "must have" expansion. Comes with more Events, Items, Omens and 50 more stories so replay value is even better. Also adds a brand new floor, "The Roof" which adds new flavor to games. Would have rated this a "10" but it should have included new characters.

More Betrayal, which is pretty much all I wanted. New items and omens, as well as the roof, add more variety to an already high-variety game.

Oof.. this expansion is a real stinker. It's obvious that the scenario writers were trying to be creative and push the limits of what Betrayal can do. Unfortunately, this results in seemingly every scenario having some overwrought "gimmick" that shows off the writer's cleverness, but isn't actually fun to play. The base game had a few dud scenarios too, but I've now played maybe 10 of the expansion's 50 scenarios, and every single one of them has been slow, dull and frustrating. (Maybe the other 40 scenarios are great, but after 10 unsatisfying plays, how many more chances am I expected to give it?) Then we randomly got a base game scenario and it was like a breath of fresh air - I suddenly remembered why I love this game! Seriously considering just pulling the expansion back out.
