Based on the award-winning Betrayal at House on the Hill board game, in Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate you’ll return to Baldur’s Gate again and again thanks to the fifty included scenarios only to discover it’s never the same game twice.
Can you and your party survive the madness, or will you succumb to the mayhem and split (or slaughter!) the party?

Takes an already questionable game, changes the theme and leaves pretty much all the problems intact. Arguably a worse game with a fantasy theme than the horror theme just because it's less unique.

比山屋惊魂有进步。游戏开始能地上地下来回跑还是挺方便的,就是人物还是太脆,也许是手黑。

We found the component quality to be pretty good overall, but some elements of the game are a bit flimsy. The minis are painted, which is a big plus. Gameplay-wise, this game is a bit of a mixed bag. Our 3-player games have been uniformly disappointing. The randomness of the gameplay is definitely better suited for 4+ players, so play it with bigger groups, if possible. Also, the rulebook is pretty difficult to navigate when looking up rules on the fly. There's a lot to remember, so that can quickly become problematic. All in all, Betrayal at Baldur's Gate, while an improvement over House on the Hill, is an unspectacular game that's best suited for larger groups. However, if you love DnD and horror games, then there really isn't anything better out there.
