Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Can be a breeze or brutal depending on your decks. Resource stripping is annoying, but a good challenge. I like Dru-buri-dru's mechanics.

More innovative variety by the designers. Enemies have the Archery keyword and shoot you from true range (i.e., the Staging Area -- why can't we do that again?).

I don't like being punished with resource loss, but admittingly that added quite a challenge for the scenario. Each separate enemy or location are not so bad, but they really boost each other, kind of reminded me Slivers from M:tG. Probably would play again. Won on 4th try.
