Ages 14+
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Thematically this is very appealing; mechanically it looks like they are throwing kerosene on the already runaway complexity fire with the way the dual class cards function. May eventually purchase depending on reviews on overall arc once it is completed, but not optimistic.

This isn't my favourite cycle, although it does have some fun ideas. In particular, the reliance on persistent encounter cards with modifiers means that it's almost inevitable something will get forgotten, and it takes work to keep everything straight. It does add to the sense of impending doom, though, I suppose. Some very tough individual scenarios.

This was one of my favorite cycles. I played as Rita and loved her so much. I was just running and running through the woods. Evasion was something I didn't know I needed in my life, but I loved it!
