Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management

A little fiddly at times, but the story in this one is lots of fun. Particularly great is the prologue, which removes you from the "gifted investigator" role and puts you in the shoes of...well, fodder.

Very nice introduction to a thematically great cylce. Both scenarios are good. The prologue is a little bit annoying but if played well, can be a good pay off later in the campaign. I know some say it isn't but it carried my Preston through the finale.
