As an adder to Revolution, this does feel like a tacked-on extra. It makes for an awkward gameplay loop to check the Experience content before and after completing one of the actual mission boxes. It seems like more of the meta-narrative has probably been moved into Experience away from the core game missions. The skills and weaknesses add a needed layer of complexity and carry over from the fairly sterile core missions.

Bei „Experience“ handelt es sich um keinen Fall, sondern um eine Charakter-Erweiterung, die TIME-Stories noch mehr Hintergrundgeschichte bringen soll. Wir Zeitreisenden sind nicht mehr namenlos, sondern haben eine Rolle und Eigenschaften, die wir mit in die jeweilige Zeit nehmen, in die wir springen. Über mehrere Fälle hinweg können wir die Charaktere weiter entwickeln. Im ersten Abenteuer spielt das aber noch gar keine Rolle. Für uns war es auch eher anstrengend, am Ende des Hadal-Projektes den Verwaltungsaufwand auf uns zu nehmen, der „Experience“ mit sich bringt. Dies führte dazu, dass wir nach einer halben Stunde Anleitung lesen und befolgen keine Lust mehr hatten und „Experience“ zurück in die Schachtel legten. Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob die Erweiterung wirklich etwas bringt, uns kam es jedenfalls wie Arbeit vor.

The buffs are quite hard to get, to be fair. But worth the addition as it is quite cheap - provided you're going to play lots of blue cycle time.
