Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management

The perfect scenario for the AHTCG system. The leads mechanism means that the game has great replay ability as you get 2 of 5 possible leads, leading to 10 leads combos. Great theme, good balance, plays well with different investigators. It’s so good, if you don’t own a core set I recommend getting one and buying this scenario. It’s worth it!

This is a really excellent stand-alone story, it hits the mark on challenge fairness (as there are both combat and non-combat options for the things that it asks of you), challenge variety (all of the skills are useful here), and variability (with the multi-pronged final act that is randomized each play). The theme on this is a fun one as well, and it seems like it would slot in well as an interlude in most campaigns, as it's not hard to find an excuse to have your party stop at a spooky hotel for a gaiden in most campaigns. Hard to say anything negative about this one, looking forward to replaying it again in the future.

What a fun scenario - and can be replayed with a different ending each time. Very neat concept, very fun implementation of it.
