In Basisschachtel the faction itself is seems to be cool as an alternative for a player, but is weaker as the base factions The new rule for the zombies to be activated will see no use I assume. It costs a player too much and may only be used to hinder another player to win but restricts you in your next actions. And for that price point to only include one more base ring is a impudence. Wouldn't buy again with knowing the rules now

Undead in the Wildlands? What's not to love? I really like the choice of an additional faction or to use them as neutral faction for more variety. I wish we could've gotten more bases, but I understand why they didn't Thankfully the bases are not hard to remove. Now I just have to figure out a storage solution for the full set without dumping the base game insert.....

The first expansion for Wildlands, which adds a new faction, the Undead. I liked this, but not as much as the factions from the base game. The Undead have great advantages (6 of them, only 2 symbols) but a HUGE disadvantage (needing 4 cards to claim a shard). This essentially makes them have to use combat to try to win and since they all have 3 health, they are kind of squishy. Also, their cards have much fewer symbols on them and many of the cards have neither of the 2 symbols needed to claim a shard. There is also the scenario included, which allows a player to add an Undead to the board when their character is killed. The figure can move and fight (using eliminated characters symbols), but cannot pick up shards. I didn't try this, but it sounds kind of meh. So, fun but not necessary. Also, they only included 1 extra base. So, if you want to play the Unquiet Dead, you have to use green. That kind of sucks.
