Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

I really feel like Robin Hood's Merry Men can be really powerful with their attack card. Bigfoot's sidekick Jackalope can be very powerful if it can run through opponents.

See my comment for Unmatched for my thoughts on the game itself (spoiler: I like it quite a bit). This is probably my favorite small expansion as the two factions are very easy to understand and play and don't have any wonky rules, so I always use them when introducing players to the game; I actually think they are much more intuitive than those in the base game Volume one... A must-have expansion if you like Unmatched and want to introduce it to others.
